Biography

Malcolm is an actor and Horse Racing Commentator based in East Yorkshire. He has appeared in London’s West End, worked on several National Tours, completed many repertory seasons and was nominated for an award for his role as Angel in Trevor Miller’s ‘The Heart of Saturday Night’ at the London New Play Festival. On television he has had spells in several soap operas, including ‘Emmerdale’, ‘Eastenders’ and ‘Hollyoaks’, together with featured roles in ‘Elizabeth I’, ‘Six Queens’, ‘The Chase’, ‘Casualty’, ‘The Royal’, ‘The Bill’, ‘Grange Hill’, ‘Byker Grove’, ‘Witch Hunt’, ‘Heartbeat’, ‘Bernard’s Watch’, ‘Cold Feet’, ‘Boon’, ‘Perfect Scoundrels’, ‘The Upper Hand’, ‘Blue Murder’, ‘Kiss Me Kate’ and ‘Six Wives’. Film roles include Avery in ‘Delicacy’ and Terrence in ‘Hackney’s Finest’.

As a commentator he works for both dedicated racing channels on Sky TV – Racing UK and At The Races. He also occasionally works for ITV Racing and BBC Radio 5Live.
